G'day all,
Having a few probs finding out if my rear dif is lsd or not, spoken with toyota them selves and they cant help me, the cars details are as follows:
1994 ln106r hilux
2.8 diesel 4x4 5speed
trans/axel code: G52 0285
Cannot see anything written on the diff stating it is an LSD
tried using the tables available on the net to decipher the code but seems to only work for older models/codes?
when offroad and gotten stuck in mud i know for sure that i have had the front drivers and rear passengers wheel spinning, then also the opposite front passenger and rear drivers, does this indicate lsd?
i have at once stage had the arse end off the ground and spun the drivers wheel and both wheel turn the same dirrection freely, at the moment i have drivers rear jacked up and when i turn that wheel it sorta feels tight i can turn a it but not as freely as when both are of the ground.
While the car is like this i also tried starting it up and to drive off the jack however only the wheel off the ground (drivers side) sat there spinning and i remained on the jack with a slight sensation of it trying to drive off unsure if this is caused just from the wheel spining or not.
Thanks in advance for all your help peoples.
