Outer Limits 4x4 Board

G'day,
I have a LJ81 ute I am rebuilding. It's all going well except for a lot of rust in the cab. There's a big hole in the floor on the driver side which is the main problem. I am really stuck on this and I've never been four wheel driving and are dead keen to get out there! If anyone has any ideas I'd love to hear them.

wat u wil have to do it cut the rusted part out, and weld in a new piece! or cut all the floor out, reinforce it, and clear perspex the whole lot! easy to c rocks for rock climbing! dunno how legal it is

if you cut both drivers and passengers floor out nicely, you could weld in some checkerplate on both sides and give it a factory feel without the need for floor mats - which will prevent future rust so long as you keep it painted.

Have you considered fibreglassing? Easy to do strong as well.
