Go for it. You may have to LPG it full time.

Yee Haa a thriftyone in a 4B

You will probably need to go full time gas to get past the engineer, but thats alraight, just build the engine to suit.

Also do some checks on kw and Nm from the engine, it may be more suitable to throw something else in.

but the 351 would be nice :D

gota mate with a 351 in a 40series mad truck when it runing but has alot issues keeping the drive line together. but big power engine conversions =lotsa :D jus member yur drive line may need sum work. the 350 goes in2 da 60series realy well bt if u already got a 351 go 4 it. if u need conversion stuff try dellows there handy as all hell.

IIRC the 351 is a fair bit wider (more obtuse 'V') than the 350, may also have bigger heads? So mightn't be quite as easier fit. Lots of room in the 80s engine bay though...

yep they're a wider engine

but they've been done in 60's before

unless you already have the clevo.. use it.. possibly- but have fun trying to get it regoed!! old carbed shitter in an injected'cruiser... (I'm assuming its an 80' series, not an '80 model 60') but honestly, the clevo's might be nice in an xy or xa etc.. but at the end of the day- they are way to heavy and way to wide.. small block cube's in a big block basically..

I'd go for a 302 windsor from a ea- au falcon (nice and small!).. then stroke to 347ci.. but that's only if your a ford man.
if your a real man.. inj 304 from vn-vt commie. best engine out for conversions and plenty of kits to convert 'yota's to them.

In all this no one has bothered to ask, is your 351 a Cleveland or a Windsor?

Cheers
