Outer Limits 4x4 Board

Gday all just lifted my 80series 5" and have put adjustable panhard rods
in but like to no how people set them up where do u measure the distances from especially the fount?.
i have also put in drop boxes which work well all so like to no if u need any mods on the steering it drives OK but could b better any info on this size lift would b good

to work out the length for the new panhard (assuming you're still using all the factory mounting points), take

the square root of (the length of the original panhard squared plus the lift squared)

and you will have the magic number. (pythagoras' theorem)

Take a measurement from inside tyre wall to shock tower hat on both sides. Tinker with panhard rod untill both same.

Rear's easier. just use a tie-down strap to pull axle across untill measurement b/w inside tyre wall and chassis rail are same both sides. Then adjust panhard and fit.

You can use your calculator as a wheel chock if you wish

When I did the adjustable panhard in the Jeep I just took the stock one off and bounced the Jeep up and down so it centered itself on the springs. I then hung a line from the same point on either guard and double checked the spacing to the tyres. Worked well and was easy to do.
