1HZ turbo

Post by tuff 80 ute »

I have a new 100 series and going to turbo it.
Does any know what turbo AXT uses in their kit.
I know it's a Garret turbo but is it a GT BB turbo?

G'day tuff80
I have just put a Garrett turbo on my '97/75/1hz.
Kit supplied by Turbo Glide, the turbo is T28, bushed bearing, not BB. However, they give a 2yr. unlimited warranty so that is OK by me.
Very happy with the result, I was looking for better uphill towing which with the standard fuel setting is looking like a gear better (3d./4th.)

I've seen some AXT kits ( never in a 1HZ ) in a TD42 and Frontier ( nissan ) and never come with BB turbos ..
