3in lift on 80 series - will it fit 35s ok????

Hi guys.

Should be picking up a 80 series tomorrow. - hang on, its after midnight..... today.... yippee!!! :D :D :D
The suspension is sagged a bit and I will be replacing it soon with new springs and shocks.
Hoping to put a (ironman) 3in lift in the ol' girl.
Will this clear 35in (centipede) tyres????
It will be running around on 265s or 285s tyres most of the time, just deciding what size tyres to use as my every day runabouts.
Still uncertain with the runabout size, but I will not be putting anymore than 35in tyres for play time.

Just wanting to know if this will mostly clear everything ok, and will it look to weird at all with 265s on a 3in left.
More after a touring vehicle than a hardcore one, but would like the play tyres (35s) to fit at the same time.

Thanks in advance!
Phil

I have 2" lift, 35's in a DX with no flares, no mud flaps and very little offset on the rims and it doesn't touch.

I believe it the offset rims and mud flaps that make them rub.

I run a 3in Ridepro lift with a set of 50mm bumpstop spacers,
My road tyres are 265/75/16s and my play tyres are 35/10.5/16s
all good no rubbing.

It will be for a 96 DX cruiser.

My brother works at a tyre place and said he can get discounted stuff, so I gave him a list to get back to me with prices.

It has a winch bar (possible winch soon), with a standard rear bumper but looking to get a rear wheel carrier on it.
If I fine a rear bar though with tyre carrier on it at the right price I might get that also.

I have a 3 inch lift and 16 inch rims at 15mm offset and run 315 radial claws. They only just just touch under full flex.I have some flares on it as the tires stick out 50mm from the body.Im very happy with the ride and height is tops for every day use.

Ok just to double check, sorry to hijack.

At the moment i have 5" lift and i run 33's as daily tyres and have 35x11.5x16 Simex Centerpede's (et2') fitted to Factory GXL 16" steel wheels, for play. I am wanting to start a bit of camping/beach driving as well as a bit of hard playing. So i want to keep the 35's for play but want to lower the cruiser to 3". I am looking at the dobinson 3" variable springs, which have the same free height as my 5" coils, so flex is still there. but what i want to know is with the 35's if i lower the bump stops will the rear tyres still grab the flares?
what are peoples thoughts

Cheers Troy
