I have tuned quite a few and have found a number with faulty injectors, they seem to suffer the same fate with the contaminants in the LPG much like the Europeran LPG converters of old. Performance and economy when they work are good. They are designed for fitment to EFI vehicles as they rely on the factory ECU and a piggyback ECU type arrangement in most cases so would be dear to fit on a carby vehicle.

How can you tell if an injector or more is stuffed?

i have an injected system on my new 6ltr VE ,had to wait for a set of bigger injecters from japan
but now you can hardly notice a power drop from petrol to lpg so seems ok .
as for how much fuel the ve is heavier and more powerfull than my old lpg 5ltr VR so even though the injected system is better on fuel the to cars end up using about the same l/100 (but the VE is way more grunt
)
the guys that fitted mine (EZgas) did say they went through a few differant sets of injecters on there own cars before they found ones they were happy with

I have the Eurogas injection system on my 96 GXL 1FZ-80 It would be a big job for a DYI intake manifold has to be removed so the jets can be drilled into it and lots of wiring, obviously a connector to each injector and the system has its own engine management system that needs to be set up. But if you had the time experience why not!!

I fit Tartarini injection primarily and Eurogas next. These two are by far the best systems I have dealt with both in reliability and performance.
The taratrini system uses a unique matrix injector which is far more stable and reliable than any injector I have dealt with.
Heres a pic of a Territory (all I've got at the moment)
Done 6l VE's and BF XR8's ect. ect and all run exceptionally well and have never had any of my customers return with problems with their systems.
I also do straight gas injected systems that run a dedicated engine management system for LPG. These are for real high powered engines or non petrol injected engines. Awesome stuff to say the least.
