ive just installed a facet usa pump. the std model for around 85$.
ive used these before but this time the fuel keeps dropping back in line and makes a bloody racket till it sucks up again.how can i stop this?
ive got a weber 32 /38 like in escorts ,
its std unleaded petrol motor.
angled at 45degrees as instructiioons and no huge bends in fuel line to carb..

im in darwin and it gets around 80 deg under hood when parked. is this a temp thing?can i fit a valve to let fuel flow one way? .
the tank has a return fuel line which ive blocked at engine bay.

i had the same problem with mine on my surge tank.
Had to move the pump closer to the tank.

Pump should push, not pull. Fuel is vaporising (boiling) due to low pressure.

a) put it close to the tank
b) make sure there is a return line so the fuel circulates.
