Ive just blown my gear box in my GQ shorty (TB42) and was wondering what people think about putting a new one in or fixing the old one also were to get one cheap also is there ways to beef it up so it doesnt happen again

fit a late model GU box in ... or get the same GQ box ... u must have been doin a good job to break it ... i could never break mine when i had it

its not gone yet but its on its way 5th and 3rd are about done it makes a shocking grinding noise when at high speed when i put my foot on clutch thought it was just the thrust bearing but mechanic recons its to do with gear box as well its a swb with 5 inch lift if thats helps
