Outer Limits 4x4 Board

My 02 4.2 td has problems reving past 2300 ,it feels like it's starving for fuel or sucking air .It's only done 77K running a 3" pipe This problem has just become noticable,I'll check that all fuel lines are tight tomorrow .I have a glass water separator filter and that appears ok any thoughts?

Check the filter in the banjo fitting just before the fuel pump. Its a little gauze mesh thing.
