what oil for series 3s?

i am rebuilding my Tcase after blowing it up a few weeks back, just wondering, what oil should i run with seires 3s?

please help

Yep thats right. Case is chock full of gears and shafts so not a lot of room for oil.

You filled it through the shifter hole didn't you?
That's OK as long as you remove the filler plug first... so you don't overfill it. :lol:

Actually what happened was I emptied the old oil into a Two litre milk bottle cut open So I could hold the Handle up to the drain hole and I got alot more come out than 0.8 so I thought maybe that that amount might have been wrong...? I pumped it all in the plug just up higher than the bottom drain plug but I know I got a little more than the 0.8 in there..... Shouldn't hurt would it...... :oops: :oops:

I think the 800ml is just to change the oil not to refill a dry case. You'll probably need 900ml to fill from dry.
There is no pressure or vacuum in a transfer so apart from a little extra strain on the seals it shouldn't hurt to have a bit too much oil in.
I never measure how much I put in... I just fill till it overflows from the filler. :D
