Hard to find parts (FJ73 Middy)

I'm looking to do a soft top conversion (or easily removable hard top) for the Middy. I've heard that some imports (possible bundeeras) had rear doors with removable glass but they are extremely rare. Would anyone know a starting point to source a set?
The only other option I can think of is to chop down the doors and put in a lift up rear window but that sounds like potentially too much mucking around.
Any suggestions appreciated
Thanks

Why dont you carefully cut the top off your rear doors and modify them so they can be lift on or off.

Do you know someone who could quote on modifying my existing doors? (in Melbourne) Previously when I've approached panel beaters about this type of thing they don't want to know about it.
Thanks

I could help but I am in QLD. I reckon maybe go to a sheet metal worker/ steel fabricator. He could help cut it off and make up a bottom plate under the window and on top of the door. He would also help make up the pole system to go into the door. Then go to a panel beater to finish it off and paint it. Might not scare him so much then. I have seen a few guys on this forum from down that way that would have no trouble doing that sort of thing for you. Maybe one of them will offer to help.
Cheers.
Dave.
