heater core as radiator for water to air?

Would there be any problems using a heater core as a radiator for a water to air intercooler? There the only things with the inlet/outlet pipes coming straight out of the tanks as opposed to 90 degerees.

I'm would be little concen to the " sealed " issue with water related to my intake ..
Apart .. which it's the target engine .. ? and the measurements of the core.

Water to air intercoolers are dependant on the size of the heat exchanger.
yes it would work, would it be big enough? that you can only determine by trial and error. the bigger the core the cooler the air going into the engine is going to be which means more fuel and more power.
another good trick is to mess around with the speed of the pump. slower speeds gives the water more time to draw out the heat. perhaps if it wasn't big enough you could use 2 joined together.

Yes, I've been using one with my air/water experiments. I think mine was from a bedford. It had no problem pulling out what I think was about 3kw of heat. Outlet was always cold, inlet would get hot.
Oil coolers are another suitable part.
