iirc swb = short, ute is mwb and wagon is lwb, different chassis on each of them

all coil chassis are the same exept swb, wagon n ute are identicle bar the tray mounts and rear body mounts, you can cut the welds from the mounts n put them straight to the other. There is no MWB GQ these are either shortened LWB or stretched SWB. Leaf GQ are longer in the front from gearbox to diff and have more chassis overhang on rear

does that apply to the GU as well..

like a GU ute coil cab chassis can be replaced with a GQ lwb chassis?

So in sying that one could bolt a ute cb strate up to a wagon chassis but not a wagon onto ute chassis.. Not that some1 would do that.

Nasty thanks for that, no doubt you can read between the lines. I have gq wagon I want to drop a cab on, I was pretty sure the body mounts would work but was'nt sure on the tray side of things. Sounds like kust re positioning mounts for a tray. Appreciate the help

You do realise though that finding a Ute cab from the wreckers is almost impossible. Most have a line up to get them. I just decided to cut the back of a wagon instead.

Turps I know I have got a big problem finding one and at a reasonable price is nearly impossible
