Vitara oil capacity?

Yes, I've checked the bible... but is 4.4L the correct oil capacity for a Vit?

Just did an oil change on the X-90 (geeeeeezus... took 3 bloody hours as I had to remove all the bash plates to get to the sump plug :bad-words: ) and was unsure as to whether 4.4L is correct...
Have chucked in a few litres and it's barely registering on the dipstick (mind you THIS dipstick is covered in dirty sump :roll:)

...and what was Suzuki thinking of when they put the oil filler cap at the BACK of the engine????

3.5 i thought it was but that may be the 1.3

I actually managed to ring someone and they confirmed it was 4.3L for a 1.6 :D

Castrol Netlube site is good for oil capacities .

that site is weird. for a civic coupe it says 3.3 litres for my oil refill. But it acctually takes 4litres real life. i wouldent trust it....
