towing options for my 89 Landcruiser

I have a 1989 landcruiser sahara and I need to tow a caravan with it. I've included some photos of the existing (factory?) setup.
I'm wondering if there is some kind of towing solution already available for this kind of setup, or am I going to have to fabricate something (which I assume will needs some kind of engineering approval.
Do I need to just remove the current setup and have an after-market solution fitted.
