help sourcing 13B-T exhaust manifold

hey guys..
just wondering if anyone could suggest other avenues to search for a used 13B-T exhaust manifold so I can bolt a turbo onto my 3B?
I have called/emailed several 4x4 and jap wreckers looking for a used manifold with no luck to date. I have enquired with Turboglide to see if they sell their manifolds seperately, although not sure at what price.
I have found a website in canada selling them for $500CAD new.. but i would like to see if there are cheaper options available as I'm trying to do this as much on a budget as possible.
Also.. how easy would it be for someone to fab up a suitable manifold, or cut n shut a 3B exhaust manifold (surely this would be easier to locate). Is there anyone you could recommend to do this work in australia, preferably brisbane but not neccesary.
If you know anyone who is might have one I would really like to hear from you!

I imagine that would have a lot of lag. I reckon you would have been better off turning the manifold the other way up and making it fit that way. You wouldnt have anywhere neer as much pipe. Or get someone who can weld cast and weld a flang straight onto the manifold (which is bolted on upside down) I have seen it done. In fact I have a manifold here that has had it done. I would use it on mine but they dont bolt onto a 14B.
Hey does that canadian website sell 14BT manifolds? Could you give me the web address please.

unbolt your existing manifold & turn it upside down so that the exhaust flange it facing upwards & towards the front of the engine .... now .. go & find a turbo off a triton / pajero & you will find if you drill the 3 mounting holes out in the turbo , it will now sit straight over the 3 studs on your flange on your manifold .... tee into engine oil press gallery ... drill a hole in sump & braize in a fitting for oil return , fab up a new dump pipe to fit between existing exhaust & turbo , a new air inlet ducting & away you go !

if i didnt have extractors that is what i would do. Thats why i'd look for a 3b manifold if I can't get my hands on a 13bt.
The other thing with a flipped 3b manifold is that it sits way forward and i'd have to relocate my power steer resoiver. not a huge issue but one I could avoid with a turbo mounted centrally on the manifold.

ive probably got a 3B manifold at home, cast original style,
you can hang the turbo way down underneath or put it up top and still get it to clear the power steer

if you have one at home BJ I wouldn't mind taking it off your hands for a small fee if your keen.
personally I would probably look at flipping it...
But in regards to a flipped vs centrally mounted turbo, wouldn't the later be the preferred in regards to efficiency?
Am I correct in thinking that the toyota exhaust flanges are suited to CT2X turbos which are expensive and hard to find vs the turboglide which is setup for a Garrett flange?
I have seen ct26-T25 flange adapters on ebay but the appear to be about 100mm high which could be a problem. (at a glance).

Also is that a water cooled turbo or oil? Looks like its going to the heater lines to me.. if its oil, do you have any pics of how the oil lines are plumbed in?

hehe.. yeh.. on closer inspection it doesnt look like its plumbed into the water lines it might just be how the oil lines are run..
still no closer to locating a manifold though :(

thanks, but the engine is just a bit less than what i paid for the entire 40 and I can't justify the cost.. that must of only recently been posted cos i went through all the toyota ebay parts just the other night..
not bad pricewise really when you think a turbo kit comes in at around 2.5k and this complete engine is 2.2k..
