QN: Where in brisbane can i get a double cardin front tail shaft for my 80 series, rough price, dont care, just want one made as i need it pretty bad!!!
Yes im installing a part time kit, but running up and down the beach at fraser with that vibration will drive me nuts.

got mine from a driveline place on Newman Road (geebung.)
Cost about $700. driv in, drive out.
Ran that with a 6inch lift for years without a part time kit no worries.

also, not all D/C are created equal. Some will operate on much larger angles than others.

Exactly. As with all gear, you get what you pay for. This isn't the item to be trying to save a few bucks on. Buy a quality DC and you will enjoy it for years, buy a cheap crapper and it will give you untold grief.

What are hilux dc's like? I cant see why you couldnt get one of these and get a new tube put on (by a tailshaft mob) that is the right length to fit the 80.
