Hi All,

I am looking at buying a diesel Disco.
I have noticed there were a lot of autos, not many manuals (prefered option)

I was wondering how auto's go offroad on steep hills? :?:
Assuming there is no engine braking used with autos

Any thoughts appreciated.
Regards
Mark

After having an Auto in the Disco I would never go back to a manual.

Infact I am changing the old Rangie over to an auto now

GDay,
I went from a manual petrol to a manual diesel, now an auto diesel ... best thing yet. In 1st low, creeps down. I'll stick with an auto, even if I change from a RRClassic.

Having a 2003 TD5 auto - is the best. Have come from an manual rangie, with a lot of mods, and can go just as many places, with so much ease. They are great on the sand! High decents no probs at all.

Keep us all posted on how you go.
