Yes it can be done. The front should almost bolt straight in once a spring over conversion is done on the housing. The front brakes are no problem they are allmost identical as long as they are disk.

The rear will also bolt in as easy with a spring over conversion but the problem is the diff centre is offset to the right and the tailshaft will hit the fuel tank. It can be done but the tank needs to be moved to the LH side or elsewhere if possible. The tailshaft should cause no problems running on the angle. Brakes should be no problem again except the early housings had no handbrake. Late ones do.

As far as the rear goes, what about a Toyota Stout, L/C diff, centered in the housing, don't know how wide they are (must be in the ball park), but I think they are are only semi floating (same as hilux), and they would be getting hard to find.
This is probably not the way to go, but food for thought non the less.
Peter.
