how do i tell what ratio it is if the diff is in pieces? is it stamped in it somewhere cheers

count the number of teeth on the crown wheel, then count the number of teeth on the pinion gear. no of crown wheel teeth divided by no of pinion teeth -=ratio

its marked on teh crownwheel.

It will have something like 39:10
