just a quickie

im looking to get a 3 inch lift on my GU ute, it has leafs on the back. im wondering if anyone has donr this before without forking out the $700 approx. for a new pack.

is there any configurations that you can use i.e. 1 spring from an F-truck with some of the standard GU springs to achieve the lift. the problem is, i want to get maximum travel, somewhere near the same as the coils on the front.

im looking into a 2 inch on the back with extended shackles to get the 3 inch lift

I have a leaf GQ, and got new leafs, when i brought it (2"). if you just re set your origional pack, the spring will be shorter and will affect your shackle angle/articulation, talk to a springworks and they should be able to replace your main leaf with a longer one, bare in mind that extended shackles arn't legal in QLD.

i am going to modify my aftermarket pack anyway, which will void the warrenty, so it is probably better to modify your existing pack...
