How much should I sell my GQ for? Lockers, 37's etc.

Post by CRUSHU »

I am trying to sell my GQ, and want a quick sale, as I have found the car I want to get. What price should I put on it?
Here is a list of what it has:
GQ series 2
EFI 4.2
LPG
Auto
Convertor lockup switch (not wired)
ARB front / rear and compressor
Nissan 4.6 gears bought new
Big front brakes
3" lift
Procomp shocks
J Control arm in rear to clear Long Range Tank
Shock spacers in front for more travel
RTC Steering Dampner
Polyairs in rear
New Hayman Reece 3500kg towbar with drop tongue
2" Bodylift
Full Electrics
New Dark window tint (looks awesome)
Choice of wheels/tyres:
New 32" BFG Allterrains, on TI Alloys x 5
New 35" Kelly AWR allterrains on American Racing Ventura rims x 4
New 37" Creepy Crawlers on 16" Beadlock rims x 5
Rear compartment liner
Plus more!
It is is quite good condition, with good paint and body, good trim etc.
It has not been used in anger, which is why we want to sell it.
Someone could buy this and sell their standard GQ and save lots of money, as the parts are all new, and have hardly been tested out!

Is anyone interested in it in different guises? Without lockers, without big tyres or whatever?
Not really interested in offers for the parts on it, just offers or advice on selling the car itself.
Thanks Steph 0418 393 408

Crush, what its worth and what some one wants to pay.. well dats two different things.

one would expect it to be worth $12-15k but i am positive there will be some SC on here to offer you ferk all.. :D

so on that note. strip it and sell it in bits then sell the vehicle on its own. its the only way your gonna get some coin back.

:D

The auto is good, no rolling back on hills, no wheelspin on shaly hills trying to take off from stopped, and it has engine braking in first gear, i have to accellerate to keep up with other cars going down hill. It also has the convertor lockup switch, if you need braking in other gears, not that it is really nessesary, in a car with good brakes. It isn't a series 2 Landy with Drums all round!!
