Steel and Alloy Mesh

Can anyone recommend a supplier for cut sheets of steel or alloy mesh in the Brisbane area? I'm thinking the sized stuff that is used in security doors for the alloy, and in cargo barriers for the steel.
I want to make up some internal and roof baskets for the car, and entire sheets are overkill. Commercial 4wd basket prices are out of my range.
Thanx

a sheet of 3mm steel mesh with 50mm spacings I think is under $40 from the "Steel recyclers" at "Moss st underwood" I think the sheet size is 2m x 1.2 or something like that, as for your aloy security mesh stuff why not ask around at some aloy window places, Brisbane alluminium I think only do the frames but they might know of some-one that might be able to help you out, they were helpfull to me
Other wise have you thought of just buying an old security door and pulling the frame off, E-bay sometime have things like that going cheap!
or
one of those demolition yards!! where they sell all the old bits and pieces from when they pull an old house down!

IT should be in the General descusion threads mate, not 4x4 tech
The gene pool of general discussion needs chlorine before I would dip a toe in it. I'm not sure what I might catch.

Locker Group have a really big range of meshes available off the shelf and are the one who supply a lot of the other stockists. They also cut to size, but like most places, will probably charge you for the offcut anyway. Depending on the type of mesh that you need, you may be able to buy it in sheets pretty close to the size you want anyway.
