I'm not sure how the Waeco's freezers display their errors as mine is an EvaKool, though if you run it off a cig lighter plug, then I'd bet that its a low current cutout that has activated. Those plugs will last for 1 or 2 weeks before melting. Sometimes you cant even see any damage at all on them, but a new plug fixes it. My Waeco fridge's plug, which is a special cig lighter one did last for about 1.5 months before melting though, the Evakools lasted about 1 week!
If you're running a cig plug, then you'll really need to change to better power plugs.

What sort of plug? A small Anderson? I just had a CF80 Waeco give to me for my Birthday, I don't want it packing it in!

Small Andersons would work, though I just use the boating type 2pin screw down plugs direct to the 2nd battery. So far no issues.

they also give you an error if the battery cant handle it.

When my battery was to low it beeps and the red error light went on I don't remember reading an error list

There is a reset for the computer but I can't remember it. Try put it on 240v that you would eliminate the low voltage.

arfter fiddling around changing powersoces still got teh same error
so its not a power issue...
the display now showed the temp as 99 arfter having it on over night drops to 80...
so i think the electricals are fucked

Not much help for your problem but keep these handy
1 FLASH Low voltage - check wiring and battery
2 FLASHES Fan overload - check fan is not jammed
3 FLASHES Motor start error - leave off for 10 mins then restart
4 FLASHES Low motor speed - call WEACO
5 FLASHES Thermal cutout - check for blocked vents

Take it to a Waeco dealer to get fixed, is it a CF60? apparently some of them have this error.

I have a CF-35 as well... can I get it fixed before the issue arises?
