Body Liftin'

Does anyone what size diameter tha body bolts are and what pitch/thread they have. I'm having trouble so i need to make some female bolts to put on.

10.0mmX1.25, but for the effort, just buy one of Just Crusin's kits.

Thanks Steve. Old mans got taps and dyes and i've got no money so guess i'll just try making some. If it goes bad then will have to start saving.

If you've got access to a lathe they're not that hard to make, but without a lathe it'll be hard to keep them aligned when drilling them.

The correct OD for the female bolts is 16mm.

if you are going to make them yourself make sure you use high tensile material, alot harder to do but essential.

with hi tensile....sharpen your drill bit use plenty of coolant and take it easy.....
I've just made a set with socket head cap screws.
