1HZ water pump

How big a job am i looking at to replace water pump on a 1hz in a '91 80 series?

Timing belt and tensioners off to get to the pump if i recall correctly haven't done one for a while. Pretty straight forward though, if you can get your hands on workshop manual you should be right.

As long as you know how to set the timing properly when you take off your timing belt and put it back on after.

Take your radiator out, it will give you a lot more room to work in and will save you time in the long run.

If its your first go at it, allow yourself at least half a day remove and refit.

it's not a big job relatively simple, but if you get the timing wrong, then it's a big job.

but don't let that put you off.

2-4 hours depending on how you do the job.
