hi..about to use the dpc motor system to controll the start/run/stop on the ip..(instead of the manual cable..adding nitros, but want to be able to advance the rack to get more full..so using the dpc with home made electronics to controll it..)but where does it fit?i see it conects to the pump via a cable.(thats easy) but for the life of me i cant see where on the engine the controller bolts(or the cable holder, dpc end)!! it must go on pump side, but none of the holes on the controller line up with any bolts on engine...

now..could it be it does not bolt on the engine at all..or i need a bracket i dont have...or???

any pics would be ideal...

for info sd33t 87ish..(in a range rover)

my computers bluetooth is playing up so i cant upload a pic... but basically the control unit is a 15mm thick plate, flat on the face, about the rough diameter of a tennis ball, and has a cylindrical motor going diagonaly up from the front side of it. it sits just below the lift pump, right next to the oil cooler lines. might be a dodgy description i know, but theres not many things on that side of the motor to narrow it down from :D

yeh i know...i have one..but i cant find anywhere to bolt it onto on my engine..( i am not stupid,it just dont seem to fit anywhere) .ie no holes on the dpc line up with any on the block etc...

really just after a description/pic of one bolted to engine so can see where to fit...(itching to try out the nitros!)

thanks for your patience!!

oh right, u wanna know where to bolt it.. right...

hang on *runs out to garage to look at half an engine....*

there is a steel plate that has 2 bolts bolting it to the oil filter etc, and one that bolts to the engine mount. there are 3 holes in this plate, THAT my boy, is where your control motor bolts to.
