If your front suspensions in good nick n steerings not flogged out it will make no difference on road, off road it will make the front wheel shake hard on corrigations n such

o dont have one on my MQ, never have had one on it. have no intention to either, in my opinion its not worth bothering about.
you get a little bit more kickback when offroad, so its SLIGHTLY more important to keep body parts out from the steering wheel, but after driving one with a dampener, i dont actualy think it makes a huge amount of dif. maybe if your driving corrugations everyday it will, but in my expirience, not enough to worry about.

in my gq, on 35's, 4" lift ute. when u hit a bump with front, rather than the steering wheel pulling and coming back (this was just a bump in the road, the wheel usually turns and comes back) it kinda vibrates, and shimmys, was weird, so i put it back.
