Opinions on wheel spacers

im in the process of getting some roccia competition flares for my RRC and i currently have 15 ROH alloys and nearly new 32" wranglers and i want to keep the wheels i have now rather than get sunnies or flipped disco rims or something but i also want to fill out the flaresa bit more, now i havnt been a huge fan of spacers in the past, but i just wanted to know what ppls opionons were in regard to them i know they arnt leagal, but how many of the ppl on here have more thna a 2-3" lift and big tyres!

alloys aren't good for off road use, coz u run the risk of smashing one when aired down.
Spacers ARE actually illegal (I'm RWC Certified) but we have 15x8 neg 25 offset rims, new, which were manufactured to fill the flares for this purpose... $95 each, + freight.
We are in Melbourne but can freight to QLD.
