hi,

just wondering where they put the gas tank to a V6 prado? do they sling it underneath? as you wouldnt want it inside, but the prados have the extra petrol tank, so there wouldnt by much room underneath(?)

whats the norm?

cheers,
Smac

they remove the rear tank and bloke off heaps of hoses, I have seen some that have bolts that go through the floor where the third row seats clip down, thus the seats would not clip in properly.
Buy a diesel, alot less hassles

No what you need is a good fitter to do the install thats all.
I do a really nice Tartarini VSI, or lpg vapour injection system for all Prado's. They run amazingly well, will not backfire (EVER) and give the best performance, especially for towing, excellent economy and absolutely seamless operation when compared to petrol. These Tartarini kits have had heaps of research and development put into em and it really shows with the way they run.
If ya need anymore info you can give us a call on (03) 9887-1315 and ask for Anthony, I will be glad to answer any questions you have regarding LPG on Prado's.

my dad had his prado done by LPGAS1 here in vic about 2 years ago, no problems at all and runs the same on petrol and gas. They removed the rear tank and fitted it there and then refitted the factory bashplate over it with about a 1'' spacer to clear the tank.
