Hello all from a very wet and cold UK.
I have a MK1 1987 Pajero 2.5 Turbo Diesel Wagon import. It has an ULTRA Full Auto Turbo Timer no 4703 fitted, but not connected. I cannot tell where it used to connect, and would like to get it working. Has anyone any info on this timer or wiring diagrams?
It has 7 wires coming from the unit, all very thin, and 4 thicker wires just connected to the socket on the harness.

Any ideas please

G'day Allan, I can't really help you with that sorry.
Have you tried contacting Ultra for an installation sheet ?
Or perhaps going to your nearest auto elecky.
I'm absolutely hopeless with electricals and always go to my local one for any wiring etc.

No, Ultra doesnt seem to exist anymore, the only web site I can find with info on the unit is old and the links I need dont work. Visit an auto electric place? this is England here, no body wants to give information out like that without charging an arm and leg first. No one seems to have heard of it here either.
I contacted your forum because Oz seems to have more 4x4`s out there, and the countryside to use them properly. We just play about here, most 4x4`s only go offroad if they bump up the kerb! Just thought you might use these types of things more.

Cheers

Allan can you tell me the colour of the 4 thicker wires?
I think the smaller wires may just be for other options such as backlighting on the timer.
ive wired up a few turbo timers and they are all mostly the same.
If you can tell me the colours i may be able to help you atleast get the basics of it working.

Cheers Ruff. The thicker wires do not connect to the timer unit itself. They come out of the 11 way connector to a larger 4 way connector. They are grey, brown, green, yellow.
The other wires are, black,red,yellow,green,blue,brown,orange.
There is a thin white wire, cut off, sticking out of the harness. I have attached a photo of it below.
Thanks

Mate im sorry to say that i dont think you have the full unit there. Ive never seen a Turbo Timer that small.
To me it looks like that is just a control panel and the white plug is supposed to plug into the control box.
Usually Timers have 4 wires. One to Ignition Power,One to Accessories power,One to Earth, and one to Constant power. And the 4pin plug looks just like a plug from one of the Jap import timers we get over here.

Could be wrong but that is what it looks like to me.
