Had this happen to me once. After driving through a heap of water parked it, tryed starting the next day and clutch was stuck on. I left it for a day and then it started working again. After this i noticed that the little rubber timing cover plug was missing from the side of the cluch bellhousing. The way i figure, water must have got into the clutch through this hole and mucked it up, by letting it sit the water must have evaporated. I dont know the exact mechanics of it, maybe someone else could explain

it sounds like something similar has happened to you. Check if you have the rubber plug on your cluch bellhousing. if its missing my bet is you got water in there while mud bashing.

So fingers crossed its something as simple as that

the splined shaft coming out of the gearbox has a bracket with a bolt clamping it on the splines. this can come loose
