The 70ltr Hilux tank has been put in Sierra Utes before. Remember this is a ute he is talking about, not a SWB.
Hilux axles under a Sierra... You can get it legal, but to do it legally it will probably cost you a fotune and allot of pain. Axle swaps are legal in queensland despite common misconception, however finding someone who will actually pass it, is the hard part. You may even have to go as far as an ICV, which means lane change tests, etc, blablabla. As for places, Don't know, open the yellow pages and trall through that I guess.
BTW last time my father rang QLD transport to get a list of engineers, half the phone numbers they gave me, were out of date, one guy no longer had his QLD transport certificate, and some other bloke had retired. They are quite unorganised, and didn't even seem interested when he tried to tell them about the non-working phone numbers.
