just wonderin if anyone can help me,
im in the process of lifting my 00 hilux sr5, i wanna put 33x15x15.5 on it and just wanted to know if im gonna have any problems with those tyres on the car. im putting a 4 inch ifs lift on it and if necessary i can easily put lift blocks in too.
another thing is that i was told im gonna have to put extra flares on the car. just wondering if anyone knew of anyone who manufactured/sold em.

any input would be appreciated.
cheers

15.5" wide tires on an IFS lux?????
You're going to need more than a 4" lift to fit em. You'll need at least a 2 or 3" body lift on top of the 4" lift to accommodate the much wider arc the outside of the tires will be going thru when turning.
You'll probably go thru ball joints a lot quicker with the extra leverage on them too.

33x12.5 r15 will fit easily with 4" of lift.

I have the Skyjacker IFS kit in my 01 SR5 with a 2" body lift running 35x12.5R15 MTZ's on 15x8 cruiser rims.

The tyres sit about 2 inches outside the factory flares, at first the tyres touched the front mud flaps on turning but i got the heat gun out and moulded them back and now they only just touch.

At the rear on full flex the tyres come up and hit the flares... this is using the super flexy skyjacker leafs.

If your in Melb PURPLE PIG sell the rubber flexy-flare in 2 widths for around 10 bucks a meter.

If you have any questions about the lift give me a yell....

Cheers
