I cooked mine on the way up NT and luckily it was fully covered on insurance!
This is real, i honestly saw this quote with my own eyes. To buy a brand new TD4.2 ex japan, it's just under $20,000 to get it to the NT !
I would of had to pay the difference on it because it was an "improvement" to my car. I ended up getting a second hand engine of a wrecked patrol which had around 100 k on it for $12, 000 .

A lot has to do with supply and demand and freight , but there is your ball park figure.
