ive found arb diff locks are very tough
but ive got lokka lock rights in my gq lwb wagon
for the past 5 years and have had no problems .and on the other hand ive got twin arb (d.L) in my mk ute and have had nothing but
broken axles.
air leaks.
cant steer with front lock in .
so what do everyone else think just for a opnion

the idea with airlockers is that you lock them ONLY when you need them, and they are fully locked.
auto lockers are really auto UNlockers, so they unlock when one wheel wants to go faster, such as the outside wheel when turning.
this is why you cant steer with the arb front locked, and if you need it locked in, then chances are you wont be needin to steer a whole lot anyway. keep it unlocked untill totaly needed....
i vote arbs, coz when ya use them right, they are great! but if you have them locked needlessly, then they will cause probs, just learn when to lock em and when not to

or unlock when you dont need to be locked, and when you are locked, dont push to hard.
just coz you got lockers, doesnt mean you can do anything. still need to know the limits of your truck.
oh yeah, the MQ axles prob wont be as strong as the GQ, so that will add to breakages

yes.
I would look how you are using them. Then I'd look at what your replacing the broken bits with. then look at upgrading the driveline.

what size tyres are you running?
mq diffs arent known for strength on 35's or larger. especialy when driven by people with no right foot control.
and if you are breaking stuff with a manual locker i say throw the auto lockers cos you will break lots more
