80 SERIES TO HILUX BRAKE MASTER CYLINDER

Hey all, like the heading says, which 80 series cruiser year model brake master cylinder bolts straight up to an ln65 hilux.

They all do. just make sure the it's not from an ABS 80 series. when i did mine, i had to rotate the master cylinder 180 degrees on the booster.

You just want a mc that has an inch bore. There is a newer model hilux that has the 4 bolt pattern and an inch bore. Using this one leaves the brake lines on the correct side so you don't have to rebend them to the other side of the mc.

Just remember that a bigger master cylinder will give you worse brakes.
It will give a firmer feeling pedal though.
I am in the process of chucking on an 80 series booster and m/cyl on my Lux as I have fitted the V6 callipers on the front and the IFS rear drums.
With the bigger booster as well it should stop nicely :).
