Outer Limits 4x4 Board

We need some 2" wheelspacers to suit a Range rover for Sams new buggy. Does anyone in Aus stock these new or does anyone have a set we can borrow for this comming weekend. We dont have time to get some custom wheels made and spacers will get us out of trouble this weekend.

Can anyone help us out please?

Or does anybody have any really good booty fab ideas on how to make some 2in wheel spaces. I think Ive thought of most and the best one is to put the wheels on backwards with a couple of washers in there as well.

But I would really like to buy some 2in spacers (like tomorrow).

booty fab idea - weld 2" longer bolts to existing studs :lol:

and then put heapsss of washer in behind the rims :rofl:

or

couldn't you change the offset of yr rims?

Been there and done that one on the D44s on the original rig when the 42s first went on

This will be driven a little harder than that so we dont want to risk it.

We could change the offset but just dont have time. We have too many other things to do and only have 4 days.

Any small engineering workshop could easily turn these up!

It would take them no more than 2 hours.

The hardest part would be finding someone to do them straight away!

Even if you get them to face of the material and spot drill, it would not be to hard to drill it out. Just need a couple of bigger drills!

Also if you know of a workshop that would allow someone to use a lathe and a mill i could easily do it in a couple of hours!

OR

If you buy some decent tooling for that little lathe i could turn them down (just need some billit steel), mark the p.c.d and drill them from there.

I see you have a boring bar out there already!

To add to that if you could get them laser cut that would save heaps of machining time! (boring out the centre will take the longest)

Cheap way to go about as well:

1. Go to Dunken Doughnuts
2. Get a Dozen GLAZED Doughnuts
3. The Have to be GLAZED
4. Eat 2 each ( 12-(2x2)=8)
5. Day after ("Day 2"), repeat step 4 ( 8-(2x2)=4)
6. Day 3, by now the 4 remaining doughnuts would be ROCK SOLID, and the GLAZING part would have helped in that.
7. Use above mentioned as wheel spacers! :finger:

(Note: the above mentioned is NOT waterproof and may deteriorate with any liquids...particularly coffee)

Got it sorted - just going to run some smaller tyres. Borrowed some 38X12.5 R15 TSLs from Greg (aka 1madengineer) ehich is good cause this the the sized tyre I was origionally wanting to run. Good thing too because the transport company has somehow lost my custom inner axles so that I carnt run my longfields. So Im just picking up a couple of brand new 110 CVs. So they should cop the 38s for a while.

how big though ones i saw were about 30-40mm
