Mine are nylon others use al. Keep the diameter the same as the rubber mounts to spread the load.

Rearmost mounts are studs but can be replaced with bolts. From memory the lenghts varied. There is an article on WARFS.ORG about it - its translated from god knows what but you can make out the essential details.

Manuals are also downloadable from there - I would suggest you get them.

There is rubber currently on you body mounting points, and you just put the new nylon or alloy blocks between them.

ah ok then. thanks alot,

i have been quoted $10 each for the spacers (made of polyethalyn) or $60 per meter, pre cut to size, just waiting to be drilled by me.

is it easy enough to drill them out?

Yes - no real precision required. Just make sure your drill doesn't run off center too much.

And yes the original rubbers stay in place so its spacers only.

P.S. use plated bolts, washers and nuts ( nylock are good ) so it doesn't rust.

Thanks alot guys.

seems easy enough to do as long as you take your time and make sure nothing is being stretched.

thanks again

Well hey there!

I guess (obviously) just check once you're done that at full flex there's nothing being streched... Not just when it's sitting on the road with the body lift!

I am probably buying a second rocky today, just heading out to have a look!

As he's lifting the body the brake hoses etc arn't afected as they are attached to the chassis.

There are a few under bonnet lines that need to be sorted out ( other thread ) and make sure the fuel filler hose hasn't come off

Yea, double check your radiator hoses and vac lines etc as MM said.

Also check the steering column and make sure the transfer lever doesn't foul on the tunnel.

Get some grade 8 high tensile bolts along with the nyloc nuts as mentioned.

I only notice a problem with it when fuel started splashing on my feet
But it all good
You maybe can extend the hose at sum point e.g. (with pip and screw clamps)
I let my one stretch and reclaimed it still ok 2yaers later
But I had to drop the radiator about 3â€

Ah, yes, well - I completely forgot the engine driven fan - never having had one ( well for a few days it had one ) it just didn't enter into my calculations.

And 5" lift - your going to have to reach down through the floor to change gear... personally I think it would be scary and very unstable but each to their own.
