I think regulator in alternator is shagged. Auto elec said about $180 if i remove alternator. Seems excessive to me
How hard is to pull alternator apart and replace regulator? I should be able to get one at trade price through work. Hopefully.
92 GQ TB42e. Hitachi 70amp alternator.
Also, would a bosch regulator fit? If so anyone got a part number as i know someone who could get it cheap for me.
Thanks

You could bolt in a complete 85A alternator out of a falcon for $40.
