Anyone removed the rear windows to replace them in a LWB rocky?
I'm talkin about the sliding ones. Basically my window tracks are full of rust but I've got another set now so I want to swap em over!
Just interested to see if anyones done it and how hard it is!

Youve got to pull all the trim off and there is about 5 nuts that separate the top window. Then it gets tricky more people the better .
Just have to screwdriver around the edges (carefully) as you push it out .
Spray heaps of soapy water around the seal as your doin it.

As said, remove the trim piece between the alpine window (long skinny window at the top) and the sliding window. This is done by gently pressing the small centre button on each of the round plastic catches.
Once removed, you will see 5 ? nuts (cant remember exactly how many. Maybe 2 nuts per thread also).
Undo these and the stainless steel strip on the outside should come off.
Then its just a matter of leavering around the rubber gasket, slowly working the frame out. Ideally you need 2 people for this.
One on the inside working at the rubber frame. The other outside the vehicle holding the frame so it doesnt let go in a big rush and fall to the ground.
Good luck.
Cheers
