From what i have read it is quite difficult ot get extended (50mm) shocks for the widetrack feroza.
The best solution i did read was to convert the lower mounting plate of the rear shocks to take an eye instead of a stud but how easy, and safe, is this to do and has anyone done this before?

also am i right it saying that the front shocks are the same for the f300 and f310??

as well as this can anyone tell me where i can get raised leafs for my f310. i was looking at 2". Repco told me they could get kings but when i looked at the part number it was for the f300 and king dont make one for the WT??

I have also read that there are suitable donor cars to get leafs from for the NT but i was wondering if there is a similar way to raise the WT or is it best to just get new leafs if the rears look to be 250k km old?

thanks

Try EFS (carrol springs) at smithfield.
Got my rocky springs there 2" lift with a longer main spring.

Using there shocks now.
Did have kyb shocks when i 1st changed the springs. The efs shocks are more comfy on dirt roads and more wheel travel in the bush. not cheap though.
I had adj KONIs in my wifes 96 sx2 feroza had the front set stiff and the rears soft it worked well .

If you aren't affraid of doing a little bit of hard work then the other option is to go for some old hilux springs they are what i wound up putting in the rear. Got some old struts out of a camry for putting in the rear(Oil fluid type). All this work can be done from spares obtained free through a local suspension expert as they are scrap. The more miles on the Donor vehicle the better as it makes the springs and the struts softer. All up takes about 2 hours to do the total process.

so hilux springs are the right width for a wide track roza? and they are the right length etc for agout a 2" lift? i spose that depends on the miles from the donar vehicle really.

Also CAMRY struts???????????? thats disgusting.... Are they stud both end of the strut then to fit the back of the WT roza?

you will have to trim the springs for the length to fit the roza but yeah will be between the 2 and 4 inches mark. As for the struts they are Ring to Eye.

yeah the easiest way if you know something that has the wright type or you need to have a look at your local wrecker for the wright type thats the easiest way.

off the top of my head i think the NT and WT are the same length (i will measure them tomoz to be sure).
Also i think they are 70mm wide from what i have read on this site but to be sure i will measure tomoz as well.

if you could let me know if you find anything for the same stock length but 70mm high that would be great. im looking for about a 2" lift....

Theyre not hard to get.. any decent aftermarket manufacturer has them, try Rancho.
