Try the fuses, probably 1st thing to look at, then maybe the relay or the switching mechanism?

Flasher Cam....

Yeh the flasher can might be kaput. It looks like a relay above the pedals and has 3 pins from memory.
If it is buggered, buy an electronic flasher, as then you can do anything you want with the indicators and they will always flash at same rate, say if you want to put led taillights on. Otherwise the normal mechanical cans will go nuts.

Start with the fuses buddy. The flasher can only makes the indicators flash, when it is stuffed the indicators still come on but don't flash

Fuses are in a little black box under the dash in front of the drivers door. The box is bolted to the firewall. The cap can come off of the box easily with your hand, no screws etc. Inside are all the various fuses, and some blank slots standard. When you pull the fuses out to see if they are blown, look at the them side on, and you'll see a curly shaped piece of metal between the two metal pins inside of the plastic coated part. If its blown the curly bit of metal will be broken, and in some cases the fuse may even show signs of burning (NOT GOOD).

Just make sure you keep the right fuse types in the correct slots etc. Pull them out one at a time when checking. Also the fuses are those little horseshoe shaped ones, not like a big house fuse or anything. Can buy them from most servo's (overpriced), Auto sparkys, mechanics, generic cheap auto accesory shops, etc etc...

Occasionally people put extra fuses in cars for spotties, horns etc, so just be aware that all of a cars fuses might not be in the proper fuse box, though indicators should be ;) .

Think that covers it.

Sounds like you have a short in the blinker circuit. You will need to check your wiring, looking for shorts to earth.

have a good look around your tailights because the wireing is much more exposed back there, you don't have a trailor wireing plug or anything silly like that shorting out ?

Reverse lights constatly on, check your revers light switch on the top of the box.
