i have been told by a mate to drop the size of my tyres down to 31 cause iam scrubbing out on the bolts under the front gaurd of my 60 ( this only accures on hard articulation of the axle (front only) is it worth it or just keep em going with the 33 until i put a 2 inch body lift in and then will it stop.
My next ? is i was told to take my front and rear sway bars of the old girl is it really worth it or is it just a waiste of time.

keep the 33's youll regret going back to 31's if you go wheeeling. could you limit the travel of the spring by extending the bumpstop as a temp
solution.

Go with Hypo and you only consider going up in tyre size not down.
We get customers that buy tyres and then ask us to build the car to make them fit.The bumpstop idea is the way to go.

never go down in size, and if it is the bolts the hold the inner guard couldnt you just remove the inner guard.
how does it go for fire wall clearance?

went out today and had a look and a play and found that the bolts are the ones that hold the inner guard and it only accurs if i invert one of the two front springs. I thinking of buying the shackles that dont invert.
Have plaqced these on my rear springs (top stuff) so might try them on the front.
But allso i think the bolts hold on the flares (fibre glass style)

ok thank you to all the out come is this iam going to keep the 33's the bolts that hold the gaurd and only the inner gausrd iam going to replace with round head screw's (same size) they seem to look good and shouldn't take any mor chunks out of me tyres. had a look at the stops and could increase this but i think i will wait a couple of weeks and just do a body lift and get it over and done with. As for the wheels rubbing the fire wall i cant see any obvious marks so that seems to be all right.
so once again thank you to all
