Outer Limits 4x4 Board

Hey all,

I registered a while back while i was building my BN65 (1985 4runner with a 3B diesel, H41 tranny, double hilux boxes, locked diffs). Well, that truck was way too much fun, and after only 35,000km i rolled it in the bush.

My new rig is a 1990 JDM HDJ 81, 1HDT, A442, difflocks and winch. It was a great truck until the torque convertor gave out without warning, maybe due to prior abuse. I am looking to install an H151 and was wondering what to pay in the Brisbane area, and where to find one.

Also, will the transfer case off the automatic mate to the H151 gearbox, and is there any difference in reduction gears in the transfer cases used on the 2 transmissions?

If anyone is parting an 80 with stuff i would need for my swap, please message me.

same transfer.
i sold a whole box with the part time transfer last year for 850. i thought that was a reasonable price (i made money and the buyer paid considerably less than a wreckers would ask)

im sure someone on here is wrecking one at the moment if not try and of the wreckers around the place or perhapse someone may kno of one going for sale atm

here on the sunshine coast i have been quoted $600 for a few now. most are low to reasonable ks. from caloundra wreckers, tell them mark from suziworx sent you there, they are wrecking 5 80 series at this point.

Doubtful, but I have a mate who recently moved to Brisbane, he'll forward it to me.
