yeah cause there are so many of the VW 1.9TD engines available in Australia. Looks like a copied Keltec kit. The Keltec Zuks with the VW 1.9TD were great little cars as the engine was a punchy, revvy diesel which is a perfect match for a Sierra. But they aren't really available here in Aus so makes it a costly exercise again for not alot more gain than doing a petrol engine swap.

chill over what, said they are a good conversion in the states where the engines are available probably not a good one here. No pissing match involved with that, but I can piss higher and further but thats another thread :D

Boner, I'm not having a go, but the diesel conversion thing has been done to death. Those motors are pretty much unobtainable here and this "kit" is far from what you need to do it - it's a plate,a flywheel, a parts list and a VHS (!) tape. Trying to track down the parts on that parts list here in Aus would be a major headache.

The us market has almost no passenger car diesels so the only option was the VW. in 1.9 turbo trim I'm sure they're great, as Grimbo has experienced.
