How much boost - TDi

I just installed an aftermarket boost gauge and under load (ie driving) it reads max 17psi. Is this right???

Not quite. Factory spec for 200TDi 0.82 Bar (12psi) measured at wastegate. 300 Tdi is 1.05 Bar (15psi) - so slightly less than I said above.defmec wrote: stock there only 9 psi .
