just wanted to know about fuel consumption with the sierra

shes got 31's 5inc calmini lift
series 2 rock hoppers
its got a G16A in it runs very slow fine but slow

got me 350kms on 55L is this about right consumption thats about 16L to the 100km

also fumes with this car considering its a LWB i didnt think that the exhaust would be a problem as its so far back compared to the SWB but i still get fumes in the car when the hard top door is opens when driving (got to fix it) but its not a bit its like my throat hurts its that bad

any ideas solution much needed

Is this the one of ebay?

Check your exhaust isn't leaking cause my ute chopped SWB with open air back doesn't suffer from fumes. Might be fuel fumes too.

I havnt done the fuel usage on my lwb but I think thats about what I got in my coily. Also my soft top back window dosnt clip shut and on long drives 1/2 or so the missus starts complaining but when its hot and I roll the sides and back up its fine.

Fuel consumption can vary so much with these things it's not funny. Because they have such a small torqueless motor they work alot harder up hills and against the wind etc. So slow light acceleration style driving around town on flat ground can give great fuel milage while up hills and on the highway against the wind etc they can drink the juice very quickly.

is the g16a the efi version?

I'm pretty sure 'a' signifies carby, 'b' signifies EFI, eg A G16A is carbied and a G16B is EFI.

Big tyres will make a difference to...

i have a g16a and on 29's i run about 8km to the litre, have recently tossed a set of stock tyres on it for around town and am returning 9 to the litre... so thats about 12.5 and 11 l per 100k respectively.
