hey all my dad and i descided to atart to make a rear bar for my 100 series as the plastic ones are crappy and 35's dont fit under the car. what you guys think??

What thickness is the plate, 3 - 4mm?

Any idea of the weight of it?

its 3mm wall probally 30-40kgs with out the swings on it still havnt finished it yet tho more wlding to go

thats a nice rear bar could you take some pics of your latches and also were did you get them from if u dont mind me asking

Sorry mate, I cheated... I picked up two Kaymar arms secondhand (could not have made them for $50) that already had the latches on them. I had to modify the arms and make the receivers for the latches myself.

What you are looking for are called "over centre latches"

And you should be able to find a supplier close to you.
